We are delighted to announce that Mercian Labels has joined the Asteria Group, becoming our 41st<\/sup> production site in the group. The expansion of our UK label offering signifies another exciting step in our progress as one of Europe\u2019s leading label and packaging solution providers.<\/p>\n

Based in Burntwood, Staffordshire, Mercian Labels is a well-established and highly respected manufacturer of self-adhesive labels serving customers across the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors. With extensive capabilities in both flexographic and digital printing technologies, including inkjet and varied embellishments, the company also provide blank labels, and variable data solutions.<\/p>\n

Protecting brands with secure labelling<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In addition to their broad portfolio of self-adhesive labels, Mercian adds technical expertise in specialised tamper-evident and security label initiatives that help customers protect high-value products and strengthen product integrity. The LabelLock\u00ae tamper evident security labels and tape ranges have been engineered for maximum security. These secure label solutions offer features such as micro text on a clear adhesive border and a perfectly aligned \u2018in-register\u2019 void message to prevent copying, each label and every 150mm of tape having a unique sub-surface printed number and scannable code to prevent editing and replacement, resistance to temperature and chemical attack, and more.<\/p>\n
