Accent Etiketten in Gullegem, part of the international Asteria Group, plays a leading role in the production of high-quality self-adhesive labels for a variety of industrial applications. With our extensive product variety and in-depth expertise, we are a valued player in both the food and non-food sectors. While we are constantly investing and thinking ahead, our team is expanding and we are therefore looking for a new colleague to join us.

 

Your responsibilities

  • You will be present on the production floor and in the office to carry out risk analyses and draw up appropriate preventive measures, with a focus on the specific risks within a printing environment
  • You will advise employees and management on various areas of well-being (safety, health, ergonomics, psychosocial well-being and the environment)
  • You will be responsible for the HSE induction of new employees and will ensure that safety regulations are correctly applied
  • You monitor work with third parties and subcontractors and ensure compliance with the applicable safety rules
  • You will investigate accidents at work and formulate preventive measures
  • You advise on the preparation, implementation and follow-up of the global prevention plan and the annual action plan
  • You organise and coordinate training and awareness-raising activities on well-being and safety
  • You work closely with external partners.

Your profile

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical field, or equivalent experience
  • You hold a Level II prevention advisor diploma
  • Experience as a prevention advisor is an advantage
  • Affinity with or experience in a production or industrial environment, such as a printing company, is highly valued
  • You are communicative, proactive and have strong planning and follow-up skillYou can work independently and enjoy taking on responsibility
  • You have a good knowledge of common MS Office applications
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch; knowledge of French is an advantage.
