Senior Group Quality Manager

Job Description:

As Senior Group Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring and strengthening quality and compliance at nine production sites in the Netherlands and Belgium within the Asteria group.

You will operate in an environment with high customer expectations, short lead times and strict certification requirements, in which BRCGS plays a central role. In addition, you will provide support for central quality tasks and be willing to travel to sites outside the Netherlands and Belgium on an exceptional basis. You will ensure consistency between locations, identify structural risks in processes and behaviour, and take timely action.

 

Responsibilities

  • Functional management and support of quality teams at nine sites in Belgium and the Netherlands.
  • Uniform application of the quality management system with:
    • BRCGS audits and certification maintenance
    • Follow-up on complaint handling, deviations and CAPAs
  • Assessing and controlling risks within printing processes.
  • Identifying recurring deviations and weak links across multiple locations
  • Data analysis focused on predictable quality risks (not just incident reporting)
  • Defining, monitoring and refining relevant KPIs
  • Ensuring effective corrective and preventive measures
  • Supporting group-wide quality and harmonisation projects.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of standards, procedures and best practices within the group
  • Acting as a substantive escalation point between sites and central quality
  • Supporting audits and customer visits, including outside the Netherlands and Belgium if necessary
  • Coaching and challenging local quality managers and teams
  • Strengthening quality awareness within production and operations
  • Creating ownership for quality outside the quality department

 

Profile

Education & experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in quality management
  • Demonstrable experience with BRCGS (certification, audits, follow-up) or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and risk-oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Structured, independent and decisive
  • Good command of Dutch and English
